FORMER DOWN MANAGER Jim McCorry has been added to Kieran McGeeney’s backroom team in Armagh for the 2018 campaign.
McCorry oversaw Down’s promotion to Division 1 in 2015 – his only season in charge – but they lost championship games to Derry and Wexford during the summer.

Prior to his spell over the Mourne men, McCorry enjoyed considerable success with Kilcoo and led them to the Ulster club final in 2012.
The Lurgan native captained Armagh during his playing days and co-managed them alongisde John Morrison during the 1990s.
“I’m delighted to welcome Jim to the county management team,” Kieran McGeeney said in a statement today.
“With his previous experience and success, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and we are looking forward to working with him.”
