EX-ARSENAL AND Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant could be set for a stint in Singapore, according to reports.
Red Card Sports Radio claim that the 32-year-old, who has also had spells at Stoke, Birmingham and Real Zaragoza among others, will spend a week training with Tampines Rovers.

Pennant, who has been a free agent since leaving Wigan last season, was once regarded as one of English football’s hottest prospects, joining Arsenal for £2m as a 15-year-old from Notts County.
After struggling at the Gunners, he joined Birmingham in 2005, and a series of impressive performances subsequently earned him a move to Liverpool.
Despite an inconsistent spell at Anfield, he was part of the Reds’ starting XI for the 2007 Champions League final, in which they were beaten 2-1 by AC Milan.
Pennant would be eligible to play for the S-League runners-up when their season starts on 27 January with the Asian Champions League qualifying stages.
