World's slowest penalty taker has become even slower

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is slowly making a name for himself.

A MONTH AFTER debuting his attempt at becoming the slowest penalty taker in the world, Bristol City’s Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is at it again.

After Matt Smith was adjudged to have been fouled by Andrew Boyce, the Bristol City man made no mistake from the penalty spot to open the scoring in a 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United.

After taking seven steps when scoring against Yeovil in December, the ex-Arsenal striker needed 11 this time in a run-up that took approximately 28 minutes to complete.
