BAYER LEVERKUSEN MADE it six straight Bundesliga victories but they had to dig very, very deep against Schalke on Saturday.
Thankfully, they have Javier Hernandez in the form of his life.
The former Manchester United attacker netted his 17th goal of the league season as his side came from 2-0 down to earn a superb 3-2 win.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Leroy Sane put Schalke in the driving seat after half an hour but it was a much different Leverkusen that emerged after the break.
Julian Brandt pulled one back for the guests after 54 minutes before Karim Bellarabi equalised with a superb volley.
But Hernandez stole the show on the hour mark as Leverkusen launched an astonishing counter attack after clearing a Schalke corner.
The Mexican made a run into the right channel of the area and despite the difficult angle and the ball seemingly getting caught under his feet somewhat, he arrowed a strike to the far corner with minimum fuss.
Three goals and one assist from his last four games and Leverkusen are now five points clear of Hertha in the battle for third spot in the league.
What a phenomenal debut campaign he’s had.
