BORUSSIA DORTMUND CLAIM that it was Adnan Januzaj’s own decision to return to Manchester United and admit the deal was not good for either club.
The 20-year-old joined Dortmund on a season-long loan at the end of August but made only 12 appearances for the club, including just 160 minutes in the Bundesliga this season.
Januzaj’s return to Old Trafford was made official on Thursday and Dortmund’s sporting director admits ended the Belgian’s deal was in the best interests for everyone concerned.
“It was a wish of Adnan to go back,” said Zorc.
“The loan wasn’t a good deal for both sides all in all.”
