LEICESTER’S PROLIFIC STRIKER Jamie Vardy will undergo minor groin surgery this week as the Foxes seek to limit the impact of a necessary absence.
BBC Radio Leicester reported that the Premier League’s joint-top goalscorer will go under the knife for an elective procedure and will miss up to two weeks.

The timing of the procedure is crucial as the news comes a week out from Leicester’s FA Cup third round trip to face Tottenham. England’s second-place club will hope that the 28-year-old misses minimal league games and the reported two-week lay-off could have him back in time for the trip to face Aston Villa on 16 January after clashes with Spurs in two competitions.

They always get cocky after they do okay in something … They’re a lot like us then.
