The 20-year-old has scored three goals in 52 appearances for the Championship side since making his debut in the 2013-14 campaign, while he has scored twice in six appearances for the club this season.
Indifferent form amid the club’s Premier League relegation last year led to rumours that the young midfielder could be sold, but this latest move ends speculation of a move away from Villa Park anytime soon.
Grealish previously represented Ireland at underage level, but hit the headlines when he switched international allegiances to England, the country of his birth.
“Everyone knows this is a club I love dearly,” he said, after penning the new deal.
“It’s the place I want to play my football. Bodymoor Heath provides a great environment in which to continue my football education and to call Villa Park home is something I will never take for granted.
“We’re looking to return to the Premier League. I want to be a big part of that process and will be doing everything possible to make that a reality.”
