Jack Byrne shines yet again in Holland with another stunning long-range goal

The Ireland U21 international is really beginning to find his feet in the Eredivisie.

JACK BYRNE CONTINUES to impress on his season-long loan spell at SC Cambuur, despite playing in a team struggling to pick up points.

The 19-year-old Manchester City midfielder, making his 23rd appearance for the Eredivisie’s bottom club yesterday, scored with a cracking strike from outside the box in their 3-1 loss to Heracles.

Martin O’Neill spoke glowingly about the Dubliner at last week’s squad announcement and Byrne will get the chance to catch the Ireland manager’s eye in the coming weeks as he is set to train with the senior side for the first time.
