Italian rugby player tests positive for 11 -- yes, 11! -- banned substances

One of the side-effects of using such a heady cocktail is the growth of breasts in men.

AN ITALIAN RUGBY player’s capacity for cheating was mocked in the Italian press today after he tested positive for no less than 11 different banned substances.

Davide Vasta, a player with third division [Serie B] club Amatori Catania — based in Sicily — was caught in a random test and has since been provisionally banned.

Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy’s leading sports daily, was on strike today but a website report called Vasta’s use of banned pharmaceuticals “a doping record!”

Most of the substances revealed were of an anabolic [muscle-building] nature — testosterone and nandrolone among others, although Vasta was also caught using a drug designed to “resize the mammary glands”.

One of the side-effects of using such a heady cocktail of anabolics is the growth of breasts in men.
