IT BEGINS.
After a series of mini-camps throught the last month, the Irish squad congregated at Carton House this morning for their first training session ahead of the warm-up games against Wales, Scotland and Italy.
While some players are still rehabbing injuries, everyone took some part in the session, which resulted in some great photos.
With ‘Rala’ on the sideline, their every need was catered for.
When it comes to preparation, Sean Cronin uses his head.
The Irish Women’s Sevens team were caught misbehaving, and sent to the naughty step.
“What way is the gun show?”
“That way, Johnny!”
Jordi Murphy will be fit for the weekend, despite seemingly being electrocuted during today’s session.
“Draw me like one of your French girls…”
Cian Healy’s been working on that sidestep over the summer.

Fun fact: Paul O’Connell’s legs are so long, he has to stretch alone at the far end of the pitch.
Is he Welsh?
@Trevor Beacom: nope born in England to two Irish parents
Looking forward to John Cooney coming to Ulster. He could surprise a few people if he stays fit and if he gets game time. Paul Marshall really always has been an impact player. It will be interesting to see if he can gel with PJ and how well he can develop.
