Alan Judge handed senior Ireland debut for Swiss test

The Brentford midfielder starts in tonight’s international friendly at the Aviva Stadium.

IRELAND MANAGER MARTIN O’Neill has named the uncapped Alan Judge in his starting line-up for tonight’s international friendly in Dublin.

The Boys in Green face Switzerland in the first of two matches at the Aviva Stadium this evening (7.45pm), with Slovakia to come this Tuesday.

Darren Randolph starts in goal with a back four of captain Seamus Coleman, Shane Duffy (who earns a second cap), Ciaran Clark and Robbie Brady.

Brentford’s in-form midfielder Judge gets the nod alongside David Meyler, Stephen Quinn and Aiden McGeady in midfielder while Shane Long and Kevin Doyle are up front.

IRELAND: Randolph, Coleman (c), Duffy, Clark, Brady, Judge, Meyler, Quinn, McGeady, Long, Doyle.
