TWO IRISH PLAYERS have made the 12-man shortlist for this year’s Six Nations Player of the Tournament.
Conor Murray and CJ Stander have been rewarded for their recent performances, the Munster duo the only Irish representatives on the shortlist.

It’s the second successive year that Murray has made the cut for his Six Nations displays.
Champions England have three players included in Maro Itojie, Owen Farrell and Joe Launchbury.
There are two players each from Scotland (Finn Russell and Stuart Hogg), Wales (Rhys Webb and Ken Owens) and France (Louis Picamoles and Camille Lopez). Sergio Parisse is the solitary Italian player nominated.
