IRELAND AND POLAND are both facing Uefa fines following their Euro 2016 qualifier.

Martin O’Neill’s side have been charged with improper conduct after five players were booked in the 1-1 draw at the Aviva Stadium.

Wes Hoolahan, John O’Shea and Seamus Coleman were all cautioned by referee Jonas Eriksson in the first half while Marc Wilson and James McCarthy also picked up yellows.

Ireland’s fine is likely to be relatively small; Celtic were fined €8,000 for a similar offence in the Europa League earlier this year.

Poland also face disciplinary action for the “setting off of fireworks/throwing of objects” by a number of their supporters on Sunday evening.

Both cases will be heard by the Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on 21 May.
