Ireland climb into top 30 in Fifa rankings but still one place behind Northern Ireland

Meanwhile, Euro 2016 opponents remain number one in the world.

IRELAND ARE UP into the top 30 in the latest Fifa rankings, which were released today.

The Boys in Green have moved up one place to 30th and remain right behind Northern Ireland, who also qualified for Euro 2016.

There is no change at the top as Group E opponents Belgium are still number one, while Italy are 15th and Sweden sit in 35th.
