The Ireland boss sang Callum O’Dowda’s praises during yesterday’s press conference and the 22-year-old has been handed his first competitive start ahead of Aiden McGeady.
Burnley’s Jeff Hendrick returns to the midfield to partner captain David Meyler, while in-form striker Nottingham Forest striker Daryl Murphy, who has six goals in the Championship this season, comes in up front.
Wes Hoolahan and Shane Long also get the nod in attack.
