Sexton and Henshaw 'fit and available' for Ireland's RWC date with Romania

The message from Ireland’s camp today? Everyone’s grand, thanks for asking.

IRELAND TEAM MANAGER Michael Kearney has declared all 31 of Joe Schmidt’s Ireland squad available for Sunday’s meeting with Romania.

Robbie Henshaw missed the opening weekend win over Canada with a hamstring issue and took a limited part in squad training. Following the 50 – 7 win, Jonathan Sexton, Peter O’Mahony and Iain Henderson were also sidelined from yesterday’s session with a variety of ‘knocks.’

However, a short release from Kearney today insists that Ireland actually have no injury concerns:

“In any match week we’d be managing guys in and out of training,” says the team manager.

“The good news to report is that every player is fit and available for selection against Romania. So, team announcement coming up on Friday.”

Romania’s late consolation try celebrations were incredibly joyful last night
