On your marks! Tickets for Sunday's game in Lyon are on sale this afternoon

Make sure that internet connection is stable and you’ve got your credit card details handy.

TICKETS FOR SUNDAY’S Euro 2016 round of 16 clash between Ireland and France in Lyon will go on sale through Uefa’s official online portal this afternoon.

Supporters hoping to get their hands on tickets for the game at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais can do so via Uefa’s website from 1pm here.

As one of the standout ties of the round, demand will  be extremely high and the FAI says it is currently in negotiations with Uefa over securing a further allocation of tickets for Ireland.

The home of Ligue 1 side Lyon has a capacity of 60,000.
