Keatley and Carter in the 10 shirts as Kleyn bolsters pack for Munster's clash with Racing

Tyler Bleyendaal and Niall Scannell will miss the crucial Champions Cup clash through injury.

OUTGOING MUNSTER DIRECTOR Rassie Erasmus has made three changes, two of them enforced, to his side for tomorrow’s Champions Cup pool clash with Racing 92 (kick-off 17.30, Sky Sports).

A neck injury for Tyler Bleyendaal has kept him out of the province’s home bow in European competition, giving Ian Keatley the reins at out-half with JJ Hanrahan among the replacements after playing with the A side last week.

Hooker Niall Scannell also misses out with a thumb injury so Rhys Marshall comes into the front row with Kevin O’Byrne hoping to make his European debut from the replacements.

The big boost for Munster is the return to fitness of second row Jean Kleyn, who missed the trip to Castres as he completed recovery from a neck problem. The South African joins Billy Holland in the engine room with emergency signing from Saracens Mark Flanagan edged back to the bench.
