HULL CITY ENSURED Liverpool’s miserable 2017 continued with a 2-0 victory over the Reds at the KCOM Stadium thanks to goals from Alfred N’Diaye and Oumar Niasse.
Liverpool dominated possession in the first half but failed to muster a single shot on target and were made to pay when Alfred N’Diaye opened the scoring just before the break.

Philippe Coutinho then missed an absolute sitter, from six yards, shanking the ball horribly wide before Daniel Sturridge was introduced as the Reds strove for an equaliser that did not come.
Instead Hull made the game safe late on through Niasse to give their survival hopes a boost while the visitors saw their faint titles hopes all but disappear.
