CHAMPIONS LEICESTER CITY got the 2016/17 Premier League campaign underway away to Hull City at the KC Stadium this afternoon.
The newly-promoted Tigers have endured a frustrating summer with manager Steve Bruce departing, a lack of new arrivals and several players injured.
However, they earned a 2-1 win after taking an unlikely lead just before the half-time whistle.

The second half was just second old when the Foxes were awarded a penalty. Demarai Gray went down under a challenge from Tom Huddlestone on the edge of the box and referee Mike Dean pointed to the spot.
Riyad Mahrez, last season’s PFA Player of the Year, stroked the ball home from 12 yards out and make it 1-1.
But Hull went ahead for a second time on 56 minutes — Robert Snodgrass drilling a strike into the bottom corner — and held out to pick up all three points.
