IS BILLY WALSH’S absence having an effect on our boxers’ chances in the Olympics?

On today’s show, Niall Kelly joins us with reaction to Joe Ward’s defeat last night and discuss Ward’s disappointment in the referee’s decisions. Is the Irish boxing set-up missing Billy Walsh’s presence?

We also look ahead as Padraig Harrington tees off in the golf, marking the sport’s return to the Olympics after a 112-year absence. Harrington was one of the main voices in getting golf reinstated and he has a good attitude towards the games heading into day one.

And we talk about the raw emotion that was poured out during the table tennis matches last night, as Niall watched the Chinese competitors in action.

Join us tomorrow afternoon for episode five, when we will hopefully be reviewing good days for Harrington, the rowers and the in-form Annalise Murphy.
