HENRY SHEFFLIN IS set to become an RTÉ hurling pundit this summer.
The 10-time Kilkenny All-Ireland winner was today confirmed as the newest addition to RTÉ’s hurling punditry team ahead of the 2015 championship.
Shefflin will be appearing on The Sunday Game on RTÉ TV and Sunday Sport on RTÉ Radio 1.

On Tuesday, Shefflin revealed that he had been in talk with TV stations about moving into a punditry role but has now opted to join the RTÉ ranks ahead of Sky Sports.
“I grew up watching the Sunday Game so it’s a real thrill to be joining the renowned team of panelists this summer,” remarked Shefflin.
“I’m excited to be a part of RTÉ Sport’s team covering the All Ireland Hurling Championship on both television and radio.”
RTÉ Group Head of Sport Ryle Nugent added: “I’m delighted to welcome a true legend of the game in Henry Shefflin to our already stellar line-up of panellists across our comprehensive GAA Championship coverage.
“I’m sure Henry will engage brilliantly with RTÉ audiences who continue to look to RTÉ for the best analysis across the summer of Championship action.”
