“I’m excited to be a part of RTÉ Sport’s team covering the All Ireland Hurling Championship on both television and radio.”

RTÉ Group Head of Sport Ryle Nugent added: “I’m delighted to welcome a true legend of the game in Henry Shefflin to our already stellar line-up of panellists across our comprehensive GAA Championship coverage.

“I’m sure Henry will engage brilliantly with RTÉ audiences who continue to look to RTÉ for the best analysis across the summer of Championship action.”
