IRELAND MAY BE short two vital front-row options when they kick off their Six Nations campaign in just under three weeks’ time.
Leinster scrum coach John Fogarty revealed today that Cian Healy and Mike Ross were making good progress but there were no guarantees they will be available to face Wales at the Aviva Stadium on 7 February.
“They’re not too far off, they’re not a million miles away,” Fogarty said.

“Rossy and Cian have done really well to get back and they’re in a really good spot.
“The next two weeks for them are really important in terms of the Six Nations.
“I’m not sure if they’ll be back for the opener. We got an update this morning, saying they were moving really well.”
Healy went under the knife to sort a knee problem earlier this month while Ross has been sidelined with a hamstring issue.
Ireland’s Six Nations squad is expected to be announced later this week as head coach Joe Schmidt looks to plot a third successive tournament victory.
Fogarty was also happy to report that Leinster have no fresh injury concerns following their 25-11 defeat of Bath on Saturday.
