Harry Redknapp had a bit of an Eamon Dunphy moment on BT today

The former Tottenham and QPR manager had to apologise for his ill-advised choice of words.

BT ISSUED AN apology today, after pundit Harry Redknapp used some language not fit for early morning TV.

Featuring prior to the Man United-Tottenham match, appearing on the show Fletch and Sav, Redknapp had an Eamon Dunphy-esque slip of the tongue, when he recalled the playing days of ex-West Ham and Liverpool defender Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.

Discussing the difference between Ruddock and ultra-professional modern-day players, Redknapp described how the defender would come into training after “drinking 10 pints” and being up “all night shagging”.

Inevitably, BT and Redknapp promptly apologised for the faux-pas.
