PADRAIG HARRINGTON HELD his nerve on the final day to win the Indonesia Open — his first tournament win in more than four years.
The Dubliner saw his four-shot overnight lead whittled down by the chasing pack in Jakarta but finished with a level par 71 on Sunday to win by two from Thanyakon Khrongpha.
The leaders were tied on 16-under as they teed off on the 18th and Harrington looked to have let his chance slip when his wayward drive found trouble.
But Khrongpha’s second shot ended up in the water, leaving him with a double-bogey to finish on 14-under, while Harrington recovered brilliantly to save par.
The win is Harrington’s first in a full-field tournament since the Johor Open in June 2010.
