HAMILTON ACADEMICAL WILL pay tribute to the victims of last week’s terror attacks in Paris today by wearing a one-off jersey.

The French-themed shirt, which features the flag of France and the emblem of the French Football Federation, will be worn by the Scottish Premier League side for their home game against Aberdeen.

The club has links to France via assistant manager Guillaume Beuzelin and striker Christian Nadé, whose sister was reportedly trapped in
a restaurant beside one of the establishments where gunmen opened fire on innocent diners in the French capital. Nadé is on the bench for today’s game.

Hamilton received permission to wear the special shirts from the SPFL and the club says that the 20 jerseys — which won’t go on general sale for supporters — will then be sent to clubs in France’s Ligue 1 for auction in aid of their chosen charities.
