Hadouken! MMA fighter summons inner Ryu from Street Fighter mid-fight

It worked a treat as Shane Campbell got his win over Derek Boyle.

CANADIAN MIXED MARTIAL arts fighter Shane Campbell must have been big into computer games growing up.

The 27-year-old lightweight faced Derek Boyle at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 18 in Alberta last night and, in the third round, gave a nod to classic arcade game Street Fighter.

Campbell unleashed a ‘hadouken’, the special attack made famous by characters Ryu and Ken, before earning a TKO victory.
