'We're gonna own Dublin. They will have nothing' - Aldo not concerned about hostile Irish reception

The champ and Conor McGregor will be in Ireland on Tuesday.

THE LATEST EPISODE of the UFC’s ‘Embedded’ series follows Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor as they move from New York to Toronto on their UFC 189 media tour.

It features McGregor replicating Muhammad Ali’s bank vault photo shoot, the Dubliner hanging out with fellow UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald, and his latest staredown — yeah, another one — with Aldo.

And although he’s likely to receive a frosty reception, the Brazilian appears to be pretty enthusiastic about arriving in McGregor’s hometown this week: “We’re gonna take over Dublin. We’re gonna own it. They will have nothing.”

Meanwhile, the UFC have confirmed an exciting line-up for Tuesday’s fan event at Dublin’s Convention Centre, with Ireland’s seven other UFC fighters also set to attend for Q&A sessions.

If you weren’t lucky enough to get your hands on a ticket for the Irish leg of the UFC 189 media tour, unfortunately they’ve all been snapped up already. However, the event will be streamed live on UFC.com.
