THE IVORY COAST were crowned African champions of the first time in 23 years last night — defeating Ghana 9-8 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in Equatorial Guinea.

Roma winger Gervinho, once of Arsenal, was substituted late in the game and instead of watching the shootout, chose to grab himself a chair and face the opposite direction.

He also appeared to summon the Confederation of African Football crest from his hands on television.

    Spurs are the best team to bet in this season, they almost always put away the teams they should be beating and they usually go looking for more goals even when they are a few up.
