WE WISH THIS was an April Fool’s joke or a clever piece of Photoshopping — but sadly, no. We regret to inform you that Geoff Cross’s beard is no more.
The Scotland and London Irish prop said a bittersweet goodbye to his friend of over a year on Tuesday.
While Cross looks like a new, and probably colder, man, he did reach his target of £10,000 for charity.
The money will benefit Wooden Spoon, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children across the UK and Ireland through rugby.
That said, we reckon we could have raised £10,000 to get him to keep it for another year.
