Sean Armstrong set to make first championship appearance since 2014 as Damien Comer also starts

Kevin Walsh has named his Galway side for their clash against Mayo.

THE GALWAY TEAM to take on Mayo in Sunday’s Connacht SFC semi-final has been named tonight.

The Tribesmen have made three changes from their Division 2 league final win over Kildare.

Michael Farragher is replaced on the half-back line by Gareth Bradshaw, as Eamonn Brannigan and Gary Sice depart in favour of Michael Daly and Damien Comer.

Sean Armstrong will make his first championship appearance for the Tribesmen since 2014.

There’s also plenty of firepower on Kevin Walsh’s bench with Eamonn Brannigan, Gary Sice, Ian Burke, Michael Lundy and  Michael Meehan all held in reserve.
