Galway's All-Ireland winners visit Crumlin Children's Hospital with Liam MacCarthy

The young GAA fans were delighted to welcome the new champions.

FRESH FROM SEALING their first All-Ireland title in 29 years, the Galway hurlers continued a fine GAA tradition by paying a visit to Crumlin Children’s Hospital this morning.

The Tribesmen heroes brought along Liam MacCarthy to visit the youngsters and spirits looked to be high as players, members of staff and patients mingled with one another.

Senior stars such as David Burke, Joe Canning, Colm Callanan, Joseph Cooney all attended, as did Galway boss Micheal Donoghue.

Galway minor captain Darren Morrisey also brought along the Irish Press Cup after their win over Cork in yesterday’s curtain-raiser at Croke Park.
