Farrell seems to be a man of very high emotional intelligence. His speeches after the NZ games seemed to strike the note every time and really resonated with the Players. A very underappreciated skill set to possess.
Must have been embarrassing for him then when his actual hometown club Wigan Athletic beat City in the FA Cup final 10 season ago lol.
He is exactly the coach we need at the moment. A motivational coach to build upon the structural improvements Schmidt brought us and to take us to the next level. I just hope the media keep their knives sheathed if there are a few set backs along the way.
Would love to think Ireland have the class to do some sort of recognition for Eddie Butlerโฆ..he would be doing BBC commentary Iโm sure!!
