Here's the players who make the shortlist for the GAA-GPA Footballer of the Year awards

Dublin, Mayo and Tipperary players are in the running.

THE NOMINATIONS HAVE  been released for this year’s GAA-GPA Football Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year.

All-Ireland champions Dublin have two player in the running for the main award in Brian Fenton and Ciaran Kilkenny. Mayo’s Lee Keegan is the third player vying for the honour.

Diarmuid O’Connor will hope to claim the Young Player of the Year again while the Mayo forward will have two Tipperary players for company in Josh Keane and Jimmy Feehan.
