AFTER BATTLING BACK from an ankle injury that had kept him out for nine months, Franck Ribery has been hit with another setback.
According to reports in Germany, the Bayern Munich attacker faces two months on the sidelines after damaging his thigh during last week’s Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb.
German magazine KICKER are suggesting the former French international will miss the next eight weeks though Bayern will play just one more fixture – against Hannover on Saturday – before the winter break suspends Bundesliga action until 22nd January.
Still, Bayern won’t be able to count on Ribery’s assistance until mid-February at the earliest.
