One of Europe's finest players hit with another injury setback and it's not looking good

Franck Ribery looks set to be out until February now.

AFTER BATTLING BACK from an ankle injury that had kept him out for nine months, Franck Ribery has been hit with another setback.

According to reports in Germany, the Bayern Munich attacker faces two months on the sidelines after damaging his thigh during last week’s Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb.

German magazine KICKER are suggesting the former French international will miss the next eight weeks though Bayern will play just one more fixture – against Hannover on Saturday – before the winter break suspends Bundesliga action until 22nd January.

Still, Bayern won’t be able to count on Ribery’s assistance until mid-February at the earliest.

Pep Guardiola’s side face Juventus in their Champions League round of sixteen first leg on 23rd of that month and the 32-year-old will certainly hope to be back for that.
