FRANCESCO MOLINARI HIT a superb hole-in-one on Day 2 of the Phoenix Open and was greeted with a one of the best reactions we’ve seen in a long time.
His effortless shot on the par-3 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale prompted the large crowd who had showed up early to launch their beer cans onto the course.
“16th was just incredible,” Molinari said afterwards. “I think it’s just my third hole-in-one in my life, so to get one there, it is special and the reaction was just something else, something you don’t see in golf every day.”
