THE ODDS ARE stacked against Chris Avalos for his IBF world title shot against Carl Frampton.
But that hasn’t stopped the American and his camp from making some bold predictions.
Frampton puts his super-bantamweight crown on the line for the first time in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on Saturday, live on UTV Ireland and ITV.
“The Jackal” is odds-on favourite to KO the challenger but Avalos’s father Felipe believes his son can strip the champion inside six rounds.

“I’ve got bad news. I’m going to win,” Avalos said at today’s pre-fight press conference. “I’m going to take the belt home.
“I haven’t come all this way to lose. That would be stupid. It makes no sense.”

The undefeated Frampton brushed off the prediction and insisted: “This guy knows what’s going to happen.
“He has lost twice before to guys who don’t compare to me. He’s used to it. It’s going to be more of the same.”
