MARTIN O’NEILL HAS named a 25-man final squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Georgia (2 September) and Serbia (5 September).
Jon Walters, who had been an injury doubt, is included, though James McCarthy (hamstring), Eunan O’Kane (groin) and Jeff Hendrick (quad) are absent through injury, though Martin O’Neill added in his press conference today that there was a chance Hendrick could still be fit for the Serbia game.
Preston striker Sean Maguire also misses the cut, having been included in the provisional squad.
