Urijah Faber: “Somebody was trying to get in, so I opened the bathroom up." Eric Jamison

The man who confronted McGregor backstage compares him to a 'crackhead'

“He felt like a junior-high girl when I grabbed him, I’ll be honest,” he added.

AFTER HIS BACKSTAGE confrontation with Conor McGregor prior to the UFC 189 weigh-ins in Las Vegas, Urijah Faber has risked further provoking the Irish star by comparing him to a “crackhead”.

While McGregor played down the incident, Faber was happy to discuss it in detail subsequently.

“What happened was, I was in the bathroom,” said Faber, an associate of McGregor’s opponent last night, Chad Mendes.

“Somebody was trying to get in, so I opened the bathroom up. It was a single stall, and McGregor was standing there. We were face to face. Then you saw the video. It was super random. We were in a back hallway, and there just happened to be a camera crew there.

“I’m not trying to pick on a guy when he’s cutting weight, but the guy looked like a crackhead, man. Nuts.”

When asked to elaborate on the incident by a Twitter follower, Faber added: “He felt like a junior-high girl when I grabbed him, I’ll be honest.”
