Fight Game: The McGuigans goes behind the scenes with McGuigan, his family, and their company Cyclone Promotions in a rollercoaster eight months at the top of world boxing.
McGuigan is now manager and mentor to a stable of some of Ireland’s best young fighters including two-weight world champion Carl Frampton, who is trained by Shane McGuigan from his Battersea base.
The all-access series follows Frampton and the team to New York City, where he beat Leo Santa Cruz and was crowned featherweight king on an unforgettable night, and back to Las Vegas where The Jackal suffered his first pro defeat against the same man.
Fight Game: The McGuigans begins on BBC One tonight at 10.40pm.
