When he was awake, Hayatou insisted that Fifa is not guilty of corruption.
“I would not be here if I were corrupt,” he said. “I’ve never received a single dollar or Euro from anybody to vote for any organisation.
“We have individuals who have shown a negative behaviour so do not generalise.”
