FIFA’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE met this afternoon to discuss reforms in the structure of world football’s governing body.

With Sepp Blatter suspended, former Cameroonian athlete Issa Hayatou is acting Fifa president.

When he was awake, Hayatou insisted that Fifa is not guilty of corruption.

“I would not be here if I were corrupt,” he said. “I’ve never received a single dollar or Euro from anybody to vote for any organisation.

“We have individuals who have shown a negative behaviour so do not generalise.”
