That was the scene in Ballyneale last Saturday for the Tipperary senior football club relegation playoff between Fethard and Moycarkey-Borris.
The match was called off due to the terrible condition that the pitch was in at the venue and has been refixed for Boherlahan next Sunday afternoon. It had originally been pencilled in for Killenaule but was then moved to Ballyneale.

LONG GRASS, BAD underfoot conditions and nets in disrepair.
The fallout continued last night with county football board chairman Joe Hannigan speaking on Tipp FM about his disappointment over the situation.
He claimed the football board was not consulted about the venue while Ballyneale representatives had stated the pitch was not fit to hold the match.
