TIPPERARY DEFENDER JIMMY Feehan will again postpone a college trip to New Zealand if they win their All-Ireland senior football semi-final against Mayo on 21 August.
Tipperary have advanced to a first semi-final in 81 years and are bidding to reach a final on 18 September.
If they are successful, then 20 year-old Feehan will again defer a trip that he is taking as part of his Agricultural Science studies in UCD.
It has been placed on the backburner as Tipperary have progressed through this summer’s football championship.

“He’s supposed to go to New Zealand, we knew that from last January,” explained Tipperary manager Liam Kearns.
“Basically as we progressed, the flight is being cancelled each time we progressed.
“It’s the same story now, he’s due to go out after the semi-final but if we go to the final, then he’ll be cancelling the flight again and staying.
“It’s a work placement. He’s in UCD, they’ve been understanding about it and fortunately we’ve been able to do it.”
Feehan made his senior championship debut for Tipperary last summer in their All-Ireland qualifier against Louth before becoming a regular in the team this season.
He hit the net after only 35 seconds of Tipperary Munster final loss to Kerry and was excellent in the recent quarter-final win over Galway with his display at left half-back.
Feehan won a Munster minor football medal in 2012, a Munster U21 football medal last year and was part of the Tipperary side that lost the 2015 EirGrid All-Ireland final against Tyrone.
