THE IRISH MANAGEMENT team has been involved in a collision on the M50, the FAI have confirmed on Twitter.

The association say that their vehicle was “rear ended in traffic,” adding that the team had returned to their hotel and were seen by a doctor.

RTÉ News report that five members of the management team, including Roy Keane and Martin O’Neill were involved.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to The42 that a collision occurred this evening between junction 6 at Blanchardstown and junction 5 at Finglas.

The spokesperson added that the incident, which caused delays in the area, was “very minor” and said that no one was seriously injured as a result.

The Irish squad had a day off training today, with O’Neill and Keane spotted in Cobh earlier, as they prepare for their vital Euro 2016 qualifier with Scotland on Saturday.
