'Dare to dream' - RTÉ's Euro 2016 promo will have you excited that it's only around corner

They’ve recruited football poet Lewis Kenny for their latest effort.

THE COUNTDOWN TO Euro 2016 is well-and-truly on.

Ireland play their last pre-tournament friendly match this evening and all that will remain after that is a few days training before the Boys in Green jet off to Paris in a week’s time.

RTÉ will be broadcasting Ireland’s Group E meetings with Sweden, Belgium and Italy live, and they have released this promo to get fans in the mood.

If you recognise the young man in the ad it’s because he’s the Bohemians FC Poet in Residence Lewis Kenny.

Parisse is such a legend of the game. While I want Ireland to win tomorrow, I’d still love to see Parisse put in a performance for the ages.
