Poll: You decide on Elliot Dixon's crucial try in the Super Rugby final

A controversial score separated the sides at full-time.

TRY, YES OR no?

With exactly seven points separating the Highlanders and the Hurricanes at full-time, it’s fair to say this was a crucial score.

Elliot Dixon’s try right on the stroke of half time, and the resulting conversion from Lima Sopoaga sent the Highlanders into a 13-5 half time lead.

Whether or not you think it’s a try, the carrying from Dixon was absolutely sensational, getting tackled nearly 10 metres out from the line, before eventually carrying four Hurricanes defenders over with him.

Referee Jaco Peypar left the decision to the TMO, and it looked almost impossible to call.

On some angles, it looked like Dixon got enough grouding on it, but on others, it looked like it may have slipped out of his grasp at the last second.

Put yourself in the TMO’s shoes, and let us know if you’d have awarded this score.
