EA SPORTS CUP holders St Patrick’s Athletic are set for a semi-final showdown with old rivals Shamrock Rovers.
The two were paired together in today’s draw at FAI headquarters, ending the prospect of an all-Dublin final for just the third time in the league cup’s history.
Ten-time winners Derry City will face runaway First Division leaders Limerick in the other semi-final.
Both games are set to take place on the August bank holiday, Monday 1, with the final scheduled for 17 September.
