A DAY AFTER being omitted from the Lions squad, Dylan Hartley has been named as captain of England’s tour to Argentina in June.
Eddie Jones has selected Hartley as his captain as part of a 31-man squad that contains 15 uncapped players for the tests against Argentina on 10 June and 17 June.
Hartley is one of eight players included that saw game time when England lost their final Six Nations game against Ireland in March.

The other seven experienced figures are Mike Brown, George Ford, Danny Care, Joe Launchbury, James Haskell, Tom Wood and Nathan Hughes.
The squad includes six uncapped players in the pack in Will Collier, Harry Williams, Nick Isiekwe, Sam Underhill and the Curry brothers, Ben and Tom.
There are nine newcomers in the backs in Jack Maunder, Piers Francis, Alex Lozowski, Harry Mallinder, Joe Marchant, Sam James, Denny Solomona, Nathan Earle and Joe Cokanasiga.
