RICHARD DUNNE SAYS that “top clubs” should be interested in Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick after the duo impressed at Euro 2016.
Brady and Hendrick featured in all four of the Republic of Ireland’s games at the tournament, with the former scoring the decisive goal against Italy as well as the opener in the last-16 game against France.

Both players look set to play in the Championship in the coming season, with Hendrick at Derby County and Brady a part of the Norwich City side that was relegated from the Premier League.
But Dunne believes that “the next step” for the former St Kevin’s Boys youth players is “moving to a top club”.
“The hope for Hendrick and Brady is that their performances have been so good over the course of this tournament that it should push them on to the next level,” Dunne told ITV.
“Top clubs should look at players like that. They know they can trust them. They have played in England, theY know the leagues.
“The next step in their development is moving to a top club and that will be good for the Ireland team as well.”
Former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender Dunne made 80 appearances for Ireland over the course of 13 years and was part of squads for the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2012.
He retired from international football in July 2014, before hanging up his boots entirely in November 2015.
