CHAMPIONS DUNDALK HAVE moved to bolster their squad ahead of the 2017 season with two new signings.

20-year-old Jamie McGrath has made the move from St Patrick’s Athletic while 24-year-old Niclas Vemmelund has been snapped up from Derry City.

Athboy native McGrath can operate as a midfielder or a striker. He’s been in action for St Pat’s first team since 2014 and was part of two EA Sports Cup winning sides.

Last September, McGrath got on the scoresheet during their 4-1 final win over Limerick FC. A former Ireland U19 player, he is currently a student at NUI Maynooth.
